For many business owners, having their products or services featured in major publications is a dream come true as it provides instant exposure to a wider audience who may have never known about their brand otherwise. While purchasing an ad is the easiest way to get into magazines and newspapers, it can be costly and may not be feasible for those who are just starting out or prefer a more organic and editorial approach. But it is possible to achieve editorial coverage for your brand without spending a dime! Join our masterclass, where Kseniia Spodyneiko, former editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan Russia Digital and Marie Claire Digital, and Dee Collins, current editor-in-chief of focus magazine, will share their tips and secrets on how to land editorial coverage for your brand. In just an hour you'll learn:
Dee Collins is a highly experienced and successful entrepreneur, known for creating exceptional experiences for clients. With a career spanning years in event management, Dee has created, owned and managed massive exhibitions in Zimbabwe and more boutique-styled events in Australia.
Dee's entrepreneurial spirit led her to create the Sunshine Coast Wedding Guide whilst living in Australia and, on her move to New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty, her passion for non-gossipy content – and noticing a lack of it in the market– led her to launch her own high-quality publication, focus Magazine.
As the editor of focus, Dee's mission is to inspire, empower, educate, connect, and entertain women with refreshing articles and stories. Her approach has garnered a loyal readership, and after moving the magazine online, she launched Focus Tribe Online, a membership site for women who want to upskill their knowledge in business.
Dee is a valuable resource for anyone looking to be featured in magazines or other media. With her extensive experience and expertise, she can provide valuable insights and tips to help women achieve their goals.
Kseniia has been working as an editor in magazines for the past 15 years.
After several years of freelancing, she started her full time career as a social media manager for Cosmopolitan Russia Digital, before being promoted to digital fashion editor and then digital editor-in-chief of all four Cosmopolitan Russia websites.
She has worked as an editor in six magazines both in Russia and New Zealand. Her articles have also appeared in over 15 publications in Russia, New Zealand, the US, Lithuania, the UK, Germany, Australia and other locations worldwide.
Kseniia has a Masters in Journalism from one of the World’s Top-100 Universities and completed a professional development course in Fashion Journalism. She knows this industry from the inside out and is always happy to help new brands make the right moves towards successful collaborations and partnerships with media.
