Thanks for the opportunity to listen to Dr Madeleine Amie tonight regarding imposter syndrome - I can relate!

It was interesting to hear Madeleine highlight that our bodies have a negative stress response to these types of negative/pressured/high expectation thoughts - and that our bodies use up energy trying to keep these negative thoughts at bay - I can relate!  

Fascinating to hear that our mind comes up with these critical thoughts as a safety mechanism that acts like a safety measure. And so very true that we can remember mean or critical words for years and forget compliments or brush them off in a heart beat. I will be taking more notice of this and trying not to cut down my own poppy!

I think I have a lot of re-learning to do :)
