Your dreams are valid, and pursuing them starts with deep self-honesty - asking the right questions to align with what truly lights you up.

What’s your dream?

Not the one you think is realistic or sensible – but the one that keeps tugging at your heart, the one that makes your eyes light up when you talk about it.

If you’re ready to bring your vision to life, start by getting honest with yourself. Grab a notebook, take a deep breath, and answer these six questions. They might just help you speed up the arrival of your dream.

1. What’s your highest priority in this lifetime?

Until you answer this question, your life goals will be off purpose. Unaligned with your inner passion, your intentions will lack the power to attract the people and situations necessary to become a reality.

So, what truly matters to you – at your core?
What do you want to experience, explore, or embrace in this lifetime?

If your goals aren’t aligned with what lights you up inside, you’ll always feel a little off-course. It’s like rowing a boat with one oar – you’ll keep spinning in circles.

So, dig deep. What brings you real joy? Think back to your childhood – what did you love doing just for the fun of it? What do you gravitate toward now when no one’s watching?

When your goals come from that place of soul-level joy, things start to align. Synchronicities happen. People show up. Doors open. It’s like the universe wants to help you out.

2. Is this really your dream or someone else’s?

Are you chasing something because it feels right… or because it looks good on paper?
Is this your own passion – or an expectation passed down from someone else?

There’s no fulfilment in living someone else’s version of success. Sure, you might make people proud. But at what cost?

Fast-forward to the end of your life. Do you want to look back and wonder, What if I had gone for it?

Chasing your dream isn’t selfish – it’s actually one of the most generous things you can do. When you’re lit up from the inside, that energy overflows. Everyone around you benefits.

3. Are you settling for less than you deserve?

Have you convinced yourself that a half-lived life is “good enough”?

Maybe you’ve put your dream on a shelf – thinking, Maybe someday. Or maybe you’ve quietly talked yourself out of it altogether.

But here’s the truth: Anything less than your full expression of joy, love, creativity, or success will never truly satisfy you.

You were made for more. Don’t shrink your dream to fit your current situation – stretch your situation to meet the size of your dream.

4. What will it feel like when your dream comes true?

Close your eyes and imagine it: You’re living your dream. How does it feel? What’s around you? What does your day look like?

Get into the energy of that version of you now. Let that excitement fuel your journey.

There’s a Hawaiian saying: “Where your creative attention flows, so flows your life.”

When you focus on the feeling of your dream, you draw it closer – faster.

5. What’s one small step you can take today?

Don’t wait for the “perfect time.” It doesn’t exist.

Start now. Even if it’s small. Especially if it’s small.

Can you research something? Call someone? Write one page? Sign up for a class? Post about your vision? These micro-moves add up in a big way.

Set up systems and support around you. And celebrate every little win. Track your progress – write it down, share it with a friend, create a vision board. Momentum builds confidence.

6. Are you telling yourself, “I can’t have my dream”?

This might be the biggest block of all.

So many people secretly believe they’re not allowed to have what they want. Maybe they think their dream is too big, too risky, too impractical. Or maybe they believe they’re not talented, lucky, or worthy enough.

But the truth? You wouldn’t have the dream if it wasn’t meant for you.

Don’t bury it. Don’t downplay it. Don’t wait for permission.

You deserve a life that excites you. And your dream deserves a chance.

So, what’s your dream?

Write it down. Say it out loud. Take a step.

And remember: You are allowed to go after it – with your whole heart.
